All due respect to NBA and the hard work they put in to make their games better, I realized their current time frame for the NBA Finals has an affect towards many people here in the East Coast. For example, when I used to wake up for work at 4am I could not sleep until 12am since the NBA Finals are televised from 9pm to 11:30pm, or the latest which is depending on how the game is played. This year I watched the East Finals that had an early starting up at 8:30pm, and it was a perfect time because the game didn't last no longer than past 11:30pm which is a good news for those who wakes up at 4am for work, am I correct? I tried contacting the NBA, no one was there to answer the phone, instead I left some voice mails in regards to this change, I am assuming my voice for this change was not delivered. So I am now writing a petition to show the NBA that I am not the only person who is affected by this. Even though there are people who might say different things about this,m and or people might disagree with the idea however, my question to you all including the reader/ readers, if you could accept the starting time for the East Finals at 8:30pm, or if the fans could accept the Superbowl start time at 6:30pm, than we could accept the new starting time for the NBA Finals at 8pm or 8:30pm ET. I am speaking from my own experience when a game starts at 9pm, and the affect of waking up at 4am that has on many people. Now If the game is tipped off about thirty minutes or an hour early instead of current  9pm ET start time, it would benefit lots of fans. It is not a mistake to experiment new things, or try new ideas to improve the game better. One of the experiment that I saw NBA considered having the NBA Finals format which was 2-3-2 format that was changed into 2-2-1-1-1. I am sure NBA chose to experiment that idea to find out how everything works out, or having the new idea to give few days off between the NBA Finals was another experiment that was done by the league office/ commissioner. I am sure that my idea could also be experimented, or make an permanent change to help all the fans. If the NBA chooses to accept this petition, I would like for them to begin the NBA Finals starting at 8pm ET or 8:30pm ET during 2017, or 2018. Do I have to say anything else? well maybe since  NHL Stanley Cup Finals is scheduled to start at 8pm eastern time, I am sure NBA would be able to make the change for their true fans. If NHL is not affected by their current 8pm ET start time for the Stanley Cup Finals, I am sure NBA will be okay with the new starting time I am requesting for the league office/commissioner to accept for their loyal fans. I am kindly requesting the NBA to accept this petition, and finalize a deal which would help seeing the game to start at 8pm ET or 8:30pm ET starting in 2017, or 2018. Thank You for reading.
