Donald Sterling received a lifetime ban from the NBA yesterday afternoon, but the NBA still has unfinished business with Donald Sterling and the L.A. Clippers. Sterling still retains ownership of the franchise, and until the NBA Board of Governors forces Sterling out, by vote, we must continue applying public pressure on the NBA until this is done. Donald Sterling doesn't deserve to be an owner in the NBA. He must be forced to sell the L.A. Clippers. Full justice is required if we are to usher in a new day of accountability regarding racial discrimination and hate speech. Institutional racism is unacceptable, any person who would wish to protect, condone, or ignore such a system of inequality must be held to account.
