National Wine Centre in Adelaide : Re-hang the censored Award Winning Birth Photograph

National Wine Centre in Adelaide : Re-hang the censored Award Winning Birth Photograph
The issue
An award winning documentary image was taken down from an exhibition displaying the state’s top awarded photographic works due to concerns that the photograph was too confronting for public display.
If you feel that this level of censorship is unjust for a well awarded image representing the strength and empowerment of birth in a respectful way, please show your support. www.adelaidebirthphotographer.com.au As the subject of the photo, and the client, I was willing to support and encourage Victoria to enter the photo in the SAPPAs, and as such find it upsetting that after the photo being accepted and awarded by the professional photographic industry in SA, that for whatever perceived reason, you had a need to censor such a natural and beautiful moment in mine and my family's life.
