OUR BUS SERVICE WILL BE AFFECTED IF WE DONT HAVE OUR SAY
There is a proposed change to our bus service & it will affect a lot of us, namely children attending Dunboyne Schools or Dunboyne College (of Further Education), anyone working or visiting Dunboyne etc. Also, there will no longer be a bus from Dunboyne stopping at Littlepace and then going directly to the City Centre. You will need to change buses in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre. Please do raise your objections to Bus connects CONSULTATIONS@BUSCONNECTS.IE OR INFO@BUSCONNECTS.IE by Sept 14th (this is the last day)
The proposed bus plan will see the 270 and 70 bus replaced with 264 and 265 buses but neither will link Dunboyne to Littlepace.
Littlepace will be bypassed by the 264 which will operate from Blanchardstown shopping centre to Dunboyne via N3 and Clonee Village. This will mean that students from the Littlepace area attending St Peter's College & Dunboyne Schools will need to walk with very heavy school bags to bus stop 4325 which is located at the top of the N3 slip road. This road is extremely busy and the path which the Bus Stop is on is very narrow & dangerous.
If this affects you or if you feel strongly about the loss of our 70 bus service into Littlepace & then directly out into the city centre (with no change of buses) then please raise your objects urgently to bus connect, & your TD. Please note that the proposal is not final; objections and concerns can still be made before September 14th by emailing CONSULTATIONS@BUSCONNECTS.IE or info@busconnects.ie
