Legal Loophole - Let's get it closed!

Lovely to meet lots of parents and catch up with staff this afternoon when we handed in the feedback collected so far. And over 200 signatures for the complaint and more than 2000 for the petition! And in such a short space of time - amazing! Thank you all for your support. I know the local issue of exactly who will take over TRFA schools is just as important to to all of us because we all care about deeply about the education and opportunities available to our children. My research into the current issue has revealed a loop hole in the law which allows Oasis Academies to not declare their religious ethos to Justine Greening the Secretary of State for Education. Because the schools do not select pupils based on faith, they do not have a religious ethos apparently. How strange! Let's get this loophole closed. Watch this space! Please keep sharing. This is big!
