Remove Benjamin Franklin's portrait from the one hundred dollar bill

Remove Benjamin Franklin's portrait from the one hundred dollar bill
The Issue
Benjamin Franklin was the bane of the United States during the 1700's. He is given credit for his role in the founding of this nation, even though much of this credit is undue. He acted as a diplomat in France, doing little more than making a name for himself as an immoral, disgusting old man. In the United States, he is placed on the same pedistal as those who truly contributed in important ways to this nation. George Washington led the nation to independence and acted as its first president, Thomas Jefferson drafted the Delcaration of Indpendence and was the third president, Abraham Lincoln won the Civil War and reunited the States, Alexander Hamilton formed the national bank, Andrew Jackson led the Army as a general and acted as the seventh president, while Ulysses S. Grant led the Union to victory against the South and led the nation as its eighteenth president. Benjamin Franklin? He invented the lighting rod and sat around in France. He was a shoddy scientist; he couldn't even get the charge of an electron right. Placing Franklin on the same level as these great men degrades their enormous contributions and makes a joke out of the National Reserve and America itself. It's time we reacted to this terribly poor choice of men by our predecessors, and demanded that Franklin be removed from the $100 bill. There are numerous other Americans who have done much more for this nation who deserve this place. You alone can act. The government as it stands will not act unless we as the people demand change.
