Reply received from NICE today following an email last week chasing up the progress ..... We have received a significant amount of information since TA166 cochlear implants was first published and therefore we have decided to conduct a more in-depth review which has resulted in a delay. We are in the process of analysing the evidence and hope to go out to consultation in due course, and would therefore publish the decision after that. Unfortunately I am unable to provide a time frame for this and any updates will be published on the website in due course. Yes the relevant team have received all the information from the researchers. Will update as and when I have any more information Thanks Diane
