There are groups in parliament that are called APPG - these are informal cross-party groups that have no official status within Parliament. However my assumption is if they are involved in a group that links to what you are fighting for, then they may be willing to help ?Unfortunately I couldn't see one relating to Hearing / Deafness etc when I checked the latest one (6th Jan), Action on Hearing Loss advised me there is one and there must be an error. The Chair is Jim Fitzpatrick MP for Poplar and Limehouse. There is also the link on the news page for a candidacy survey on CI which is an initiative of the BCIG - British Cochlear Implant Group - this is the professionals group - note the deadline is 31st Jan. There is also the link for the turn to hear research by Jacques Grange. I have been in touch with Jacques and asked if there is any more research for hearing aid users and CI users to compare. If you are able to contact your MP and make them aware of the petition and support you helping to push this forward please do so. It is irrelevant if you voted for another party - they must represent their constituents.
