Thank you all for signing & sharing. Please feel free to promote the petition by donating SMALL amounts if you would like to.

We have finally fallen over the 3,000 signature line - so thank you ALL for your hard work x

I thought signing & sharing would be enough IF a petition was trying to seek a better society for all of us - but was naïve (fancy that at my advanced age!)

Change's model (seemingly like all on-line petition platforms) is mostly about making MONEY - not altruism - so Sarah wanting her dad to buy her a puppy is seen as just as IMPORTANT by Change as saving someone's life - IF Sarah's friends & family are happy to cough up the money to promote her petition.

So if Sarah's poor old dad has a few enemies - they can PAY to embarrass him publicly & Sarah can get a few thousand signatures on her petition!    How 'ethical' is that?

Anyway on the topic of ethics - I have attached an article about the difference between ethics & the law for those of you who are uncertain about it.  As you will see there can be differences and a politician may well be within the LAW but absolutely be seen as behaving UNETHICALLY.  Politicians expect THEIR employees to behave ethically when often they do not.

This is WHY we need a Code of Ethical Conduct as WELL as a National Integrity Commission!
