Hello all, I hope everyone is having a good a week.
Press Release & Social Media Engagement - I am continuing to learn how to complete effective press releases via online courses and books. I will then be sending them to specific media sources that will hopefully help our cause. In addition, I am finding I am receiving the most engagement via Instagram. Change sometimes and Facebook barley any engagement at all. Therefore, I have been targeting most of the online campaign on Instagram.
The Committee - The Committee and I have been mostly working on hopefully gaining a medical advisor for the campaign. Also, looking at how we can gain more signatures for the new government/parliament petition. A new meeting date will be arranged soon. The Information Commissioner - i am still awaiting to hear from the Information Commissioner. I will be contacting them to for an update.
The Government/Parliament Petition - Please can I kindly ask everyone to sign and share this petition. We have a real chance here and we need one hundred thousand signatures for the cause to be debated in parliament. Updated Cover Letter & Paper Protest - We are having a very positive response from these documents and more MP's are passing the campaign evidence & information to the Department of Health and Social Care. I understand you may be annoyed if you sent the previous one or may have campaign fatigue but the more people that do this; the better chance we have.
You can download the documents from the link below. On the cover letter, please feel free to remove the first paragraph (if not relevant) and you must include your full name, address and contact details. You can email or post the documents to your local MP (you can send the updated Paper Protest or Cover Letter even if you have contacted your local MP before).
