A Few Notices
Paper Protest - Please Include the Paper Protest when contacting your local MP. The paper protest has all the evidence and references that we currently have. I politely ask for people not to edit this document (Apart from Your MP's name and your contact details) especially with words like 'apparently'. Yet, I encourage everyone to write a cover letter or email. There is on edit to the paper paper, which I will upload shortly. The document previously stated "We are awaiting to hear from the information commissioner". Now it will say something along the lines of "The information Commissioner has now accepted our case." If you would like to send the paper protest document before I have edited the document, please feel free to edit that part yourself. Also, please remember to send your MP's response to me. I will use the evidence for the media proposals.
Research Studies - Myself and a few others looked in to the research studies that NICE has made available to the public. As I have stated in the paper protest many of the secondary interventions are hidden. Sadly, apart from what is in the paper protest research studies that support our campaign are low on the ground. Yet, I feel that is due to a lack of funding for our specific cause and I am unable to fully access research studies because I am not a university student or I don't work for a university etc. In addition, I can not afford to pay for the access. However, if anyone does find further research studies to support the campaign please send them my way.
Community Project - As with all Campaigns, the best way for them to be heard is if the community joins together. Therefore, please continue to use the social media material and sharing the petition as much as possible. Thank you to those who engage on the petition website and on my Instagram - you are all great! Sadly, there is very little engagement on the official Facebook group.
Thank you all for your hard work and support.
