Hi Everyone, We are slowly growing. Thank you to Mike from Forever North Stars and Dan from the Minnesota North Stars FB groups for sharing the petition again! We are over 1,700 signatures. In the past couple weeks, I attempted to reach out to Minnesota media types and people associated with the North Stars/NHL/hockey coverage. Nobody replied to me unfortunately. However, we are NOT giving up! This is a long term push and we will make our voices heard in the very least. We need the petition signed by as many fans who want the North Star history and logo returned to Minnesota as possible. This gives us more power in signatures and comments when you sign. We want to direct people from the NHL, Minnesota Wild, and Dallas Stars to see what we are requesting. Sharing this petition to all your friends and family helps! Please be persistent! Share more than once. Ask others! If anyone wants to donate to the petition, any of you can donate anywhere from $5 to as much as you want for Change.org to share this with other people to consider signing. Want to dream big? Mike from Forever North Stars and I have discussed him writing Commssioner Gary Bettman a letter and is attempting to fly to New York to meet with him about the petition. Sounds crazy? Sure, but we're dreamers! We have a dream that we want to accomplish. If it takes a meeting with Bettman or communication with various people, we are willing to do that. Someone is going to take the time to look at the petition and see what we want. Mike will attempt the letter this week and see where he can get. If any of you have connections to media in Minnesota, the NHL, or hockey in general, please ask them if they would be willing to do a story on the petition or at least share it. The more exposure we can obtain, the better! Even the critics! Let them criticize and laugh. Every cause has critics. No exposure is bad exposure in my opinion. I will take help from anyone to make this happen! Let's rock the NHL and sports in general by making this happen! Imagine the petition doing something like reclaiming history of our beloved North Stars! It's a dream will all will chase to try and make a reality! In the meantime, please get as many as you can to sign and share the petition. Donate so Change.org pushes the petition out if you feel like doing so.
