Hi Everyone, First of all, thank you so much to the I Love Minnesota Sports and the Minnesota North Stars Facebook and Twitter pages for sharing this petition! I'm so grateful! I'm just in shock! Over 1,000 signatures and closing in on 1,300 as of this update. It shows people are seeing this petition and are in agreement ... we deserve the rights to the North Stars name, logo, and history through 1993! We've had some haters to the petition. Let them hate! Just gives us more publicity to our cause! Some have asked what this means for the Wild? Nothing! We aren't asking for the Wild to change the name to North Stars. If they did, that be awesome. What we want is for the Wild to connect with the North Stars history and have access to the logo. Maybe the Wild and North Stars history become one for team records? We for sure want the three banners of retired North Stars player numbers with the N logo hanging up in St. Paul instead of Dallas! This petition may not do anything. There are no guarantees. What I promise though is once we get enough signatures, I will dedicate my persistence to making sure the NHL (who owns the North Stars name and logo) and Wild see this. I will make sure the key decision makers see it and respond to me they received it. I will not stop until I'm satisfied OUR petition is acknowledged! We need more exposure! We need more signatures.
