And the future attempt to commercialize and exploit the site by building a tourist attraction there. ***** Today I received this E-mail from Tim Giago; Tim Giago Today at 10:39 AM To James Swan Message body “Hi James, I decided to pull out of any purchase of Wounded Knee. I am too old to pursue this any further. I hope you can come up with a better idea.” Tim ***** ~ It was a solid stand against this exploitation of a sacred site, although we prevailed on this one issue we must continue to pursue a buffer zone around this sacred site to prevent any other attempts of exploitation. ~ My message to the people is this is what we can accomplish when the people come together and make their stand. This is what unity is all about. This is your community! You decide what you want! Not anyone else! ~ And to the descendants These are your relatives as they are mine also. Always be ready and willing to defend their resting place and pursue the removal of the Catholic Church from those sacred grounds. ~ Too Jim Czwyczynski This is Lakota land! And a sacred site!
