What are we expecting to happen?

One of the questions we get asked the most when we talk about the petition to the Department of Justice is "Well what do you want them to do exactly?"
Let's run through what I have been discussing with people for the in-person signature collecting as well as anyone else asking about the online petition still growing. ✨️
Conversations must begin to discuss investigations into endometriosis patient stories & deaths, medschool curriculum overviews, re-education, training, & creating a board recognized specalist field of endometriosis care. Increase in funding for endometriosis research that isn't solely focused on medications & outdated theories, resulting in possible non-invasive diagnostic tests & maybe the lead to a cure. Follow current case studies & publish new ones on updated data being collected daily to aid in the investigation overall such as cellular iatrogenic spreading agents, wrong organ removals, preventable cancer deaths, bowel obstructions, kidney failure, other genders developing endo lesions, & even children as young as 8 years old developing lesions. Awareness initiatives for public schools should be redefined, as well as the disability benefits regarding all endometriosis patients. This is one of the biggest, most painful health crises that has been overlooked for DECADES. We are NOT drug seekers and would rather not be on the hazardous chemicals. We just want to be heard. To be acknowledged, and to trust the drs are trained to do what they should be doing and not harming us, or causing mortality rates in our community. Is that truly, too much to ask for? Shouldn't some of this already have been happening? The basis of the "women's disease" has held us back as is in a misogynistic world. Now we want to ignore clear data that could aid in a better future for living with endometriosis. We could truly, get the better of endometriosis. Thats what we want!
