The defense attorney for AMBER GUYGER has asked the court to throw out her conviction for the murder of JEAN BOTHAM. If you recall, he is the man shot sitting in his living room, eating ice cream on the couch. The officer said she believed she was walking into her own apartment and that JEAN BOTHAM was a burglar - so she shot and killed him! She was convicted and given a 10 year sentence but her attorneys have asked the court to hold a hearing and issue A LESSER SENTENCE, of 6 MONTHS to TWO YEARS! And since she was convicted in 2019 that new sentence would make her eligible for RELEASE as "time served". Clearly, we cannot keep marching and protesting only to see convictions overturned. And clearly, the lives that were taken don't appear to matter if they are dismissed by some technicality of law. And if the law can be disobeyed by police without punishment, and fails to hold them accountable when guilty - then nationwide action ought to be the demand of the day! Because there is NO RECOURSE for THE PEOPLE who are brutalized and murdered and the laws neither PROTECT the people OR punish the guilty!

I urge you to ponder and consider if nationwide action is truly what you are fighting for and examine the ways in which you are doing so. Because more than your signature is needed for the demand which is nationwide in scope!
