Not only did police violently beat and arrest "peaceful protestors" but trapped them in a police tactic called "kettling." They were surrounded on all sides by police minutes before the start of a curfew and then prevented from leaving in order to comply! Police then beat with batons, brutalized and pepper sprayed and made 250 arrests! This was a planned assault in total violation of the right to protests. There was no violence on the part of any those who had been protesting. There was also NO ACCOUNTABILITY for the acts of these officers OR their superiors who gave directives and orders to arrest even when presented documentation as a Medic or Observer of these protests. In other words, anyone on the scene who wasn't A COP was going to jail!

These types of assaults by police are being seen "state to state" while the focus continues to remain on those "rioting and looting". There was no "rioting or looting" here but people were attacked and then arrested. Not while marching through the streets but after being CONTAINED and then CONFINED and then immediately ATTACKED. Before this ends in CIVIL WAR encourage others to join this demand. For there is no place else to go except before the world, concerning the atrocities being committed, in the land of "liberty and justice for all".
