Those were the words of a Kentucky police chief to a recruit, to shoot young black males! There can be no doubt whatsoever that as chief of police having the authority to issue commands to officers underneath him, that those orders were known and understood long before they came to light. So how many abused their authority attempting to carry it out? And why is the outrage expressed by those in authority accompanied by the FIRING of this police chief? He was allowed to resigned with no accountability for his actions - or- investigation into when those directives were carried out! Arrest may be over turned but it doesn't negate the directive to SHOOT soley based on the fact of being black! This is but one person in law enforcement caught in the act of sending state sanctioned assassins out on the streets to murder the innocent. They can be no doubt that those on the police on the force with that same mind set are the cause for the epidemic of police brutality and murder across the nation! There can also be no doubt that regardless to what is proven or displayed in videos - police will not hold themselves accountable, despite claims of being in shock and outrage as in the case of the Kentucky police chief. It is up to the people to demand to demand police be held accountable. And this petition is such a demand. Its time to get serious regarding the demand being made.
