A new threshold of 45,000 signatures has been reached and we are 5,000 signatures away from 50,000 signatures. In no form or fashion do we intend to stop there, but we must "move out" and into action concerning the demand. We can no longer afford a government which supplies police artillery against its own people, who then "demonizes" the people who protest against them. Race and "white supremacy" have taken the forefront disbursing hatred, under the watch and approval of police. The leadership within government has to be prodded and coerced in speaking out against it, and when indeed he does, he all but recants the denouncements made concerning it. This is the type of "double talk" we shall be up against concerning this demand. So my question to you who have signed it, is ARE YOU READY? We cannot be "dismissed and ignored" when the MAJORITY have spoken. And when that majority has spoken in "black and white" and on paper, petitioning it's government to act on behalf of the people "murdered in the streets" with impunity by police - it demands action and cannot be denied, If in fact this is government "for and by the people". I challenge the claims, demanding that they either "put up or shut up" concerning it. For they dismantle "statues" but "statues of law" justifying murder by police remain in place. When they "dig those up and do away with it", then the demand shall cease. Justice for "one and justice for all" is what we're after, and nothing less shall do.
