Nathan Deal is expected to make a decision regarding HB 859 (the campus carry bill) very soon. We want to make sure that Governor Deal vetoes this legislation, and we have a number of efforts that YOU can take part in. Campuses across Georgia are taking part in a huge effort this coming week (April 18-April 22) called the "Week of Action". The Week of Action is a series of events that will take place across Georgia campuses for students, faculty, and staff to show their opposition to the bill.
