The inglorious dawn of the Nasty business music era has signaled an unprecedented exacerbation in indecency and lewdness employed through the highly touted genre of Bouyon music.

The architects of this sub genre as it has been referred to elsewhere, have been very cavalier in dismissing any alarm by concerned citizens about the threat posed by their anti-social  art form to the nation's youth, particularly adolescents. Their rational? "The people love it and they want it. Besides, we need to survive and this is business". Period. Well did the apostles Paul wrote in 1 Timothy chapter 6 verse 10:" ..for the love of money is the root of every kind of evil."

But even more alarming has been the dismal  non-response  on the part of the minister of national security Mr Rayburn in not responding to a written statement/plea by a group of concerned citizens some of whom are well known distinguished nationals. 

We are on course to a national disaster. One that will effect the  acceleration of an already downward slide into a had core hedonistic culture. Decisive action employing any kind of legitimate action must be operationalized NOW.

WE MUST COMMAND THE  ATTENTION OF THE GOVERNMENT even if they feign deafness to our cries. The power to limit, if not to ban altogether  this intolerable scourge, is in their hands and they must know they they will be remembered in its future history as being complicit in this the ultimate desecration of the nation if they don't act now.

The  words included in the second stanza of our cherished national anthem, " ..a people... full of Godly reverent fear.." will soon just be mere rhetoric and meaningless if it isn't already. But worse yet,Dominica is entertaining the wrath of a  sovereign God. 

I stand to give full support to this heroic guardians of of our nation. I'm on standby for any future campaigns. Let is stop the disaster before it is too late.
