While the RIDEM has terminated its lease with Procaccianti Developers earlier this year, the building is still standing even though the Town of Narragansett Building Inspector Condemned the building and sent a condemnation order to Procaccianti Developers and told them they need to demolish the building.  

In addition, while the lease with PRIX has been terminated, PRIX is still operating its street level parking lot and taking in the money.   

Finally, PRIX is fighting the State and the Town in Superior Court.   I have read the legal briefs, and it is mind boggling why the lawyers have NOT motioned to the courts to have the legal proceedings thrown out as PRIX has violated the terms of its original lease agreement by intentionally abandoning their hotel, thereby creating a health, safety, and an environmental hazard to the State and the Town.
