Channel 10 News, a local news station provided coverage on our battle to save Galilee from Procaccianti Developers that is jointly owned by James Procaccianti, his wife, Elizabeth A Procaccianti, and Joseph Paolino. While they are most likely some of the wealthiest individuals in the United States, they created one of the worse health, safety, and environmental hazards on State leased land in the history of the United States.
When the above photo was recently sent to investigative reporter Brian Crandall of WJAR Channel 10, he decided to do a report on live seagulls trapped in the Lighthouse Inn. Seagulls are protected from harm in the United States, and people who do harm to seagulls can face criminal prosecution. I added if it was you or I we would most likely have been criminally charged.
Brian erroneously stated that the State owns the building, but in fact, PRI X, Procaccianti Developers owns the building. I recently sent the lawyers proof PRIX are owners on record. The lawyers for Procaccianti Developers keep bringing up false narratives, and any honest judge will be able to determine their lawyers are presenting grossly false information, and I feel they should be culpable for misrepresenting the facts. The tax assessor's office clearly shows PRI X , Procaccianti Developers are on the tax assessor's bill. I also pulled the Quitclaim Deed from the Town Hall. The Quitclaim Deed clearly shows the title of the hotel was transferred to PRIX.
With Procaccianti and Paolino having over 10 Billion in Real Estate Investments, and for purposely abandoning their hotel and creating a health, safety, and an environmental hazard that now is a death chamber for seagulls, and a significant health hazard for anyone who enters it without a hazmat suit, they have to be known as one of the most greedy and corrupt individuals in the world with that amount of wealth. Let us hope the lawyer for the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, the lawyer for the State Properties Committee, and the lawyer for the Town of Narragansett order Procaccianti Developers to cease and desist the operation of its street level parking lot in the area as their lease has been terminated earlier this year, and the State orders the building to be demolished. All legal fees for fighting Procaccianti Developers should be charged to James Procaccianti and Joseph Paolino, and they should be charged for all costs associated with the demolition.
If it was you or I who created such a health, safety, and environmental hazard we would have been fined, summoned into court, and most likely imprisoned for gross neglect and reckless endangerment. Here is the definition of reckless endangerment: Reckless endangerment is a crime consisting of acts that create a substantial risk of serious physical injury to another person. The accused person isn't required to intend the resulting or potential harm, but must have acted in a way that showed a disregard for the foreseeable consequences of the actions. The charge may occur in various contexts, such as, among others, domestic cases, car accidents, construction site accidents, testing sites, domestic/child abuse situations, and hospital abuse. State laws and penalties vary, so local laws should be consulted.
I was told by the investigative reporter, Brian Crandall, that Joe Paolino told him that him that Procaccianti Developers, PRI X, do not own the building. Brian then stated that Joe told him the fish attract the seagulls to the building. What does Joe think, we are idiots? How can he not recognize even one who has no legal background such as I can pull records from the Town Hall such as the Quitclaim Deed and the Property Field Card to show he and his company are the owners of the building? Joe Paolino, James Procaccianti, Elizabeth Procaccianti, and everyone affiliated with PRI X, Procaccianti Developers, and their lawyers continue to show more and more how corrupt they are with respect to continuously bringing up grossly misleading and false testimony, and by them failing to leave Galilee after the harm they have caused to everyone who lives, works, and visits Galilee. And now their gross malfeasance in killing innocent seagulls. There are two videos on You Tube that show the heinous conditions inside the Lighthouse Inn. The Town of Narragansett's Building Inspector and Town Manager both visited the building, and the Building Inspector determined the building must be condemned and demolished. When the Town told PRI X to demolish the building, PRI X filed a lawsuit against the Town. It is unbelievable that Procaccianti Developers that notes on its company's website it controls 10 billion in real estate assets is sinking so low as to file a lawsuit against a Town for trying to protect everyone who visits Galilee by ordering Procaccianti Developers to demolish its building.
If this continues to go to Court as the legal proceedings continue, may each of them swear under oath their false statements, so then they each can be charged with perjury.
