At 2735 signatures we are very close to the 3000 signatures milestone.    Please encourage one family member or friend to give their virtual signature.    We want to send a powerful message to the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management that they need to support and select the Town of Narragansett's Mixed Use Development Proposal for Galilee.   It is the only proposal supported by research studies conducted by landscape architects and marine scientists, the Friends of Galilee that consists of over 170 members who dedicated their lives to improving Galilee,  members of the Galilee Advisory Committee that were appointed by the Narragansett Town Council, Narragansett Town Council Members, the Narragansett Town Manager, the Narragansett Town Planner, the Narragansett Pier Residents' Association, the Galilee Master Development Plan, and research conducted by the University of Rhode Island.    Thanks in advance for your willingness to outreach.     The RIDEM may be making their decision on selecting 1 of the 3 proposals submitted sometime in February as the extended lease to Procaccianti Developers is set to expire in the near future.
