Large scale compulsory advertisement campaign during prime time hours on all public/ private TV channels for spreading social awareness
The Issue
There has been a strong tide of short clips/videos and social experiments by budding social enthusiasts on the internet depicting the plight of India on various grounds such as religious intolerances and prejudices to social apathy towards sexual assault and molestation of women, to personal health loss due to smoking, anti-corruption etc.
A few examples are:
(None of this videos are my personal property and have been shared and used only as examples)

The concept behind these videos is to make people more aware and sensitise them towards anything morally or socially wrong. I believe that goodness resides in everyone’s heart and such clips and videos can help wonders by re-instilling the goodness in them.
Unfortunately these clips fail to get outside the domain of internet and reach the common masses. Recently we have witnessed a strong advertisement campaign of Bhartiya Janta Party during the General Elections of 2014 and business and management gurus have unanimously accepted that the campaign was led smartly to reach out everyone. I hereby request the Prime Minister of India to use his smart advertisement campaigners to the advantage of sensitizing people towards social issues by assembling a team of people already associated with creation of such clips and making a call for new volunteers.
As a young Indian I strongly feel that a nation whose youth population is greater than 60% of the total it is a great time to make an impact on young minds and sensitize them towards the social evils. A simple way to reach out people is through modes of mass communication such as TV channels and radio channels. A simple solution will be a compulsory dedicated airtime for such ad-campaigns on all channels as a part of their social responsibility towards the nation and specially making it necessary during hours of high viewership, i.e. prime-time hours.
By signing this petition we express our solidarity towards compulsory use of mass communication modes to increase awareness of social issues by taking small steps in improving the nation together and forever.
