Rajasthan has now become a hub for all illegal trading of cattle's,to all over India. Its a nexus. Banjaras have become an Integral part of this modus operandi of traders.Banjaras gather the animals and take them on foot , across state border,gather at specific points and gets them loaded to trucks Most of the time police do not stop them even when they do, Banjara's either state that they have been doing this for generations or produce fake documents or receipts. Do we believe Police is hand in glove in this crime as they easily let banjaras take the cattle away without verification of documents or questioning.Even the top shots don't help despite making big promises.Why do banjaras always cross border with lots of animals and come empty handed?Melas are no more allowed in state, cultivation using ox is becoming a thing of past yet they escape all scrutiny and trade abundant cattle's on one or the other pretext.Though the motive is quite apparent yet no laws are followed.There should be a system to curb this practice.Time to wake up now before its too late and we end up loosing all cows and their progeny of the state.
