Gas-powered leaf blowers are both noise and environment pollutants. Leaf blowers blast particles, pollens, microbes and more out of the ground and into the air we breathe. They are also 1,000 times to 10,000 times louder than an electric leaf blower or rake. While many of us are stuck at home during this pandemic, these problems are intensified. 

Many California cities, such as Davis, Berkeley, Santa Monica, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles have already banned gas-powered leaf blowers.

This petition is for the Napa City Council to ban the use of gas-powered leaf blowers within city limits. Electric and battery powered options exist that work just as well, emit no pollution, are far quieter, are healthier for users and less expensive to operate.
