Where are we now?

Dear Friends, Its been over a month now that many of us are facing stress and difficulties at the NTA Fitness centers. We met the concerned ministry and wholeheartedly express our frustrations as well as our own aim to regulate the tuning industry in Mauritius. On request of the Minister, Hon. Nando Bodha, we submit a technical document which some of us worked day and nights to explain firstly what is tuning in general, what consists of car modifications and also the security aspects when modifying a vehicle. We all heard the speech given by the Minister this week, where he inadvertently describe tuners as "fou du volant". However, here, at We Are Racing, and I'm sure all our partners will agree upon, that its a first time in Mauritian history that an elected Minister has mentioned the word T-U-N-E-R in a speech. This is a major break through for us and we can even consider this as a partial win. This kind of recognition need to pursue so that one day, everyone in Mauritius will recognized us as Tuners. Tuning is just more than a hobby. Its a lifestyle as many of you commented while filling this petition. Tuning is a lifestyle. Its more than just passion. We live and breathe from the unleaded smell of gasoline to the vibrations of the gear knob. Eyes wide open, as we push the pedals down, throttling the essence of life. This is not just some random hobby. No, ..this is art.. this is our life. -Brian #WeAreRacing
