No matter what happens next Tuesday,we need to continue to send the message that we want politicians who support global initiatives to solve global problems.
For example if wealthier countries collectively worked to assist poorer nations like Honduras and to create livable conditions for its’ citizens then the people of Honduras would not be forming a caravan and walking hundreds of miles towards other countries who do not welcome them.
Most people do not wish to leave their homeland but conditions sometimes make it the only option.
When live is unlivable in one country it is not just a local problem. Migration becomes a global problem which requires a global solution.
