�� Veterans Park – 127 Church St, Putnam, CT (Alternative is Putnam Middle School)

Program Start
� The ceremony will begin promptly at 12:00 PM.
Stage & Seating
� The stage will be positioned facing Bridge St.
� Seating will be arranged in two sections, separated by a 5–6 foot aisle in the
middle.
� Speakers will be seated on stage.
� The chaplain will be seated front row, far right for easy access to the stage for
the Invocation and Benediction.
� Front row right: Reserved for Putnam Selectmen.
� Front row left: Marked "RSVP" for additional confirmed attendees.
� Handicap-accessible seating will be designated.
� RSVP seating signs will be clearly displayed.
� Sound checks have been completed by the Recreation Department and VAC.

Color Guard & Honor Guard
� The Putnam VFW and American Legion will enter the stage from the right
(Church St side), post the colors, and exit left.
o Seating for the Color Guard will be off to the left.
� The Putnam VAC will use their flags, with Rob S ensuring flag stands are
present.
� The USSVI Color Guard will be positioned left of the stage (Kennedy Dr side).
o They will also be seated off to the left upon returning from the wreath
ceremony.

� Taps, Post 91 will be seated alongside the USSVI after returning from the bridge.

Presentation of Plaques & Proclamations
� Plaques and proclamations should be presented to Brian and Ryan.
� These will be transferred to the Aspinock Historical Society for public display.
� A Legion or VFW representative will be assigned to collect and organize
these items during the ceremony.

Easels & Photos
� The VAC will coordinate easels and photos to be displayed at Veterans Park.

Speakers
� Each speaker is asked to limit remarks to five minutes to keep the program
flowing.
� This is not a strict rule, but please be mindful of time.
� Exception: Ryan Walker will have additional speaking time.

�� Handicap Parking – Congregation B'nai Shalom Synagogue (125 Church St)
�� VIP Parking – Old Town Hall (126 Church St)
�� Regular Parking – Superior Court Building (155 Church St)
�� Overflow Parking – Price Chopper Lot (Kennedy Dr)
