Well it might be a few years old now- but I thought it was worth relaunching this petition in light of the world we are now in. Every day there are more and more stories about lost learning, figures plucked from thin air stating that children are x months behind where there should be...

Social media is full of educators expressing frustration at the support their children clearly need and yet they are unable to give due to increasing workload. 

So in short- it is time for change.

Every child deserves an early education which respects them, respects who they are, where they come from, and what they bring with them.

Every child deserves an early education where play is at the core.

Unfortunately for more and more children play is being taken away too soon in favour of more formal approaches in a desperate bid to "catch children up"- well its not working- because its not what they need.

Children have the right to play. Sign, share and lets be part of the change our children so desperately need.
