I was afraid of being judged for having Hepatitis B and I didn’t want to share my story with anybody. I feel everyone’s stares, judging me for my medical condition even though I’m healthy. Hepatitis B is a manageable chronic condition. I can work, bring up my son and do anything like any other Aussie.
Yet, I put myself in the public eye for my Billy. I’m doing all I can to ensure a bright future for my son. With the help of my doctors, I’ve submitted letters to all Ministers clearly stating that my medical condition will not be a burden on the health system under the new laws. In fact, based on new tests I don’t even need medication anymore.
But the ministers are not hearing my voice. I feel helpless and I need your support to urge the Ministers to reconsider my case. Please share this petition and urge David Coleman to let me and my boy stay in our home!
