1. **Communication Issues**: The phone system and emails at the Office of Public Engagement at the White House are currently down, complicating attempts to reach out for executive action. This delay is frustrating, but I remain hopeful that the communication channel will be restored soon.

While legislative efforts like the Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act are essential, the legislative process can be lengthy and hindered by various factors. Executive action is the most effective way to swiftly address this issue and implement necessary reforms. It can provide immediate relief to vulnerable children and ensure their protection. The urgency of this matter cannot be overstated. Every single second matters when it comes to the safety and well-being of children. Delays in action could mean continued suffering or even death from abuse for those in need of immediate protection. It's our duty to act swiftly and decisively to bring about meaningful change.
