Hello to Everyone who has been traveling our journey with Savannah the past few weeks.
We thought everyone would like to hear how she is doing as your support, prayers and strength in numbers got her help.
Savannah has been admitted to Homewood Health Care Centre in Guelph. She admitted herself on Thursday, August 1st, 2019. For the first week and a half she was monitored physically and medically for Refeeding Syndrome. She overcame this hurdle and is now on a refeeding program. She has started her counseling classes in D.B.T. and C.B.T. programming.
We see her weekly and she is doing well. Her spirits are good but she does have her challenges and she struggles daily. She knows she has to work hard to overcome this mental illness if she wants her life at University and her traveling plans to resume.
She is working very hard at all these things (meals, snacks, classes) and we are very proud of her courage and resilience.
