Petition updateMy Patient is Dying and We Can't Access TreatmentWithout Insurance or OHIP - timely treatment is nearly impossible

While my patient was accepted into a program, she was only able to go because of her parents’ insurance plan. Most patients DO NOT have insurance cover for intensive treatment. To get an OHIP covered bed at this facility, you will wait FOUR YEARS!

I have received so many emails and phone calls on this topic in the last two weeks alone. People telling me that their child or patient died on the waiting list, was told they weren’t motivated enough for treatment, or whose condition worsened so much that they have permanent cardiac, gastrointestinal, or endocrine damage.

Your voice matters. To those who have signed, THANK YOU! You’ve helped so much already. Please pass this on - we need more signatures and we need to save more lives.
