I have spent the last fifty years living happily in Compass Tower Block among a hard-working, caring community.
Recent plans by the council to knock down my home and replace it with a large supermarket are completely unjust!
We don't want to be shipped off to spare housing fifty miles away, ripped away from the lives we treasure.
I ask the council to look into their hearts and consider what is really best for the community - another large shop or a home people love.
