Next month, Tim will have completed his residential treatment program and will finally be coming to Nevada (where I live) for a stay in a halfway house, the final step to his freedom. It’s been a long road but we’re finally at the end of it.
As you all know, Tim has an incredible story – one that we believe is important to share with the world in order to change minds and hearts, and hopefully prevent what happened to Tim from happening to others. Tim will be telling his story through Nation of Second Chances, a new photo and video series documenting people granted clemency by President Obama. His story will include a personal thank you video to all of you for signing his petition — Tim wants you all to know how much your support has meant to him.
We’re very excited to share his experience with this project but your help is needed for it to be completed. If you can help them reach their fundraising goal, join the project here: https://igg.me/at/tIS3DC-DjWs
You can also sign Nation of Second Chance’s petition which is asking President Trump and other members of his Justice Department, to simply meet with clemency recipients like Tim. We believe that if the president were to just meet some of these people and see the good things they are doing with their freedom, he would change his mind about not granting clemency to nonviolent drug offenders.

I will continue to keep you posted on Tim as we get closer to his release date and can’t wait to share video and photos of him enjoying freedom.
Thank you so much,
Carrie
