Delighted to say that we are making progress. Grandparents United For Children will be hosting an on-line and in person conference on November 21st 2023. please register.  We intend to launch our report and raise mass awareness of the hidden issues that impact on grandchildren and grandparents across the UK. 

The event will include grandparents and children sharing their experiences and key note speakers. The whole event has been organised by the sheer commitment and generosity of volunteers. I will be chairing the event that is being supported by Leeds Beckett University. Our report has 12 recommendations for change and I am pleased to share that Cafcass have already implemented 3. 

The numbers of grandchildren affected is increasing and change needs to happen now as these issues are impacting on the lives of our children and their futures. Please join us and if you wish to volunteer to help with the event, it is not to late to enquire.
