A Living Bereavement

I woke up to a message this morning from a very distressed elderly grandmother. I have sought her permission and she is happy for me to share this with you. 

Dear Jasvinder,

I'm feeling total despair. I feel I must, somehow, see my grandchildren as soon as possible. I don't know what to do. You mention grandparents committing suicide. I wish I were brave enough but I'm not. Just to go to sleep and not wake up to the pain and hurt. 

This is about the next generation of children, we want a change in the Children's Act, for it to recognise grandchildren and grandparents significant relationship. We have 2,080 signatures within a week, please keep signing. Break these silences and help us to get this issue to the corridors of power!
