On 20th April 2015, Mumbai University conducted the examination for Operations Research(OR) for Bachelor's In Management Studies(BMS) students.In which there was a paper correction in Q1(a) and Q2(B) which was given to the students in the last Half-an-Hour of the paper submission.The correction came late.The corrections were major (approx 15 marks) and no extra time was given to solve.The paper was already too lengthy. This happened across most of the centres.It has in turn affected students psychologically.Students had asked their exam supervisor for extra time and the reply they received was "No extra time and If you guys will ask again you will not be able to give the exams further and will be escorted out of the examination hall". The results are out and Majority of the students have failed in this subject.Students who had never got a K.T in 3yrs of BMS have now gotten it .Due to this rankers have cleared with borderline marks spoiling their total aggregate.Students who wanted to pursue further studies now have to deal with this blow.The students all over the city demand extra marks as it is a hindrance for many. I request the University to please find a solution for this problem.As you read above this is an old petition and after fiing the petition as per MID DAY article they are doing correction and 80 % work done but now we get consolidate mark sheet but no correction made and we got kt . Please Mumbai university dont play with us. We want marks.
