We are on our way to 3,000. Let’s make it happen sooner than later. We are having an effect. I spoke with the MTA today and they told me they realize that many are upset about losing their bus stops and they plan to return many that they were going to remove and will pay more attention to bus stops with shelters.

That does not mean our work is over. Not by a long shot. Their idea of “many” might be several hundred. That is not nearly enough when they are proposing to remove over 2,300 bus stops.
