Stop the planned obsolescence and waste at Microsoft! Restore support for Windows XP and release the new security patch!

Le problème

We are 30% of PC users in the world who still run our computer with Windows XP because we are very satisfied and have no desire to change!

Microsoft has decided unilaterally to suspend updates of Windows XP on April 8, 2014 . A very serious security flaw has been  since discovered in Internet Explorer on April 26 by the company FireEye .

Microsoft does not want to provide us with a corrective patch.  They are telling us to buy Windows 8 as a sole answer, akin to a forced sale. Knowing that many computers are not powerful enough to support this umpteenth new operating system of  the Seattle firm, Microsoft even tells us to get a new PC!

It's a bit like if a car manufacturer, after discovering a major flaw on one of its flagship models, told us to  dump our car at a scrap yard ( without compensation ) and to buy another one rather than recalling its cars for inspection and repair.

Here is a clear example of planned obsolescence and a lack of respect of Microsoft for the planet and its clients.  Their policy will entice millions of tons of uncessary e-waste by forcing us to discard our computers.  If you do not want to be part of this, please sign this petition and send it to other PC users in order to pressure Microsoft  to restore asap its support capabilities for XP users.
