Angela Merkel spills the beans

Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, in an interview with Die Zeit, revealed that the NATO nations never had any intention of honoring the Minsk II accords, and were merely buying time for a military build-up in Ukraine in order to launch a war to which they were already committed.
