Well I just saw myself and my family on TV putting a face to the many out there like you who were frustrated that any one might suggest that we can't scream at the top of our lungs that America is great! To all who took a stand to make sure we can always be proud of America without fear of offending someone, I would say what happened today was a success. Not just to reinstate America Day to Great Valley High School's Spirit Week, but to take a stand for the right to even say, with reciprocity, that America is great! Never feel as though celebrating your country is something to do quietly or ashamedly. Learn about the cultures in this country that live to together as Americans and respect each other's heritage. Be proud. Be American. And thank you for supporting this. To wrap it up; As I understand from the news report the have rescinded the Heritage day which replaced America Day. The student council and the principal met and decided that a celebrate your country day would be in the final word on it. I'm ok with that. It's a slippery slope and we have to keep watch to protect our right to love America, as strange as that sounds. Ross
