"Lonesome" is also being ridden with CHAINS on his front feet which strike the sensitive skin above his hooves. This causes "Lonesome" to lift his feet high to achieve the "Big Lick" gait. The Tennessee Walking Horse breed is the ONLY equine breed in the World to be shown as TWO YEARS OLD with STACKS and CHAINS on their front feet.
