"Lonesome" is also being ridden with CHAINS on his front feet which strike the sensitive skin above his hooves. This causes "Lonesome" to lift his feet high to achieve the "Big Lick" gait. MTSU Horse Science Professor Equine Vet Dr. John Haffner says the "Big Lick" is Animal Cruelty. "It is a business based on the suffering and pain of horses".
