After delivering the Petition Signatures to the White House, the Citizens Campaign Against “Big Lick” Animal Cruelty will hold a Press Conference at the historic National Press Club – located one block from the White House. At this venue, Citizens Campaign animal welfare advocates will “Speak FOR ‘The Horses” Who Cannot Speak For Themselves”. Additionally, there will be meetings with representatives of media outlets, and key U. S. Representatives and Senators. A fundraising goal of $10,000.00 has been set. Some of costs of “Taking It To Washington” will include: • Press Conference venue rental/fees • Airfare • Lodging • Transportation • Photographer • Videographer • Media kits • Advance publicity • Miscellaneous costs.
