Two small piggies are now living on Farfield school, you can read the headteacher's blog post about them, which includes some photos and a video of the pigs, I think they are adorable. There is an option to comment on the blog post.
"The pigs will not be pets and will only be with us for 9 months. The pigs will have a life twice as long as modern commercially-reared breeds and will have a truly free range life."
On average domesticated pigs can live up to about 12 years old.
But some pigs have lived over two decades!
I have not had any further correspondence from the school since before half term. I will post another update if I hear anything.
Friends not food!
