During the 2018 Homecoming, many students were outside, waiting in line, while rain continued to pour down on students while only one door in the entire building was being used as an entrance. Many students were not able to enter the building for multiple hours, resulting in them either leaving or having their night simply ruined. Our proposition is, using the revenue collected from the previous dance, to give those students a chance at having a positive homecoming and allowing them to enjoy the special night. This petition will give those students access to have that, and to make it fun, and maybe even put a twist on the event and have the girls ask the guys, just to make it interesting and bring back the uniqueness that homecoming season offers. If we are able to surpass signatures for more than half of the students at HHS, we believe it will then become evident that the other students dealt with the same situation and believes in what this petition is about, and we will be able to show the staff and STUCO about the issue and they will then be able to discuss the possible outcomes, with your help.
