Thank you everyone. This petition has already exceeded my wildest expectations. You are showing Motorola that long-term software support is really, really important to it's customers. Please keep the momentum going! To be clear, this petition is not meant to be an attack on Motorola Mobility or their parent company Lenovo. The Moto brand is globally recognised for it's consistent commitment to producing great value high-quality handsets. They have also set the bar for what good long-term software support can be like. Not many OEMs offer that kind of service. People want to buy your phones, Motorola. Please consider a slimmer product portfolio (if that's what it would take) but continue to make 'two major Android Updates' the standard for all your handsets.
